Babbo is a special place. From the food to the ambience it’s always a night to remember. I’ve celebrated a couple of very special occasions here and it has always lived up to the hype. The wine selection and knowledge of the sommelier is also something that has always impressed me. Some of the best homemade pastas, elegant plating, impeccable service all in a warm and inviting space, what more can you want?
Amelie Wine Bar
$$ Casual wine bar offering small plates

Amelie is a solid wine bar with a very good menu it’s own right. However, when you’re on your way to Babbo you’re going to want to hold off on eating anything. This spot is perfect as it’s a 2 minute walk from Babbo. Great place to grab a glass of wine and mentally prepare for the dining experience ahead.

The Marlton Hotel opened less than five years ago. Set in a 1900 building that once housed bohemian icons like Jack Kerouac, this swanky hotel in storied Greenwich Village is 3 minutes' walk from Washington Square Park and its famous arch, and a 5-minute walk from a subway station.
