The Noodle Bar was the first restaurant in the Momofuku family. Now David Chang's food empire has boolned but this spot still serves some of the originals that made the chain famous throughout New York, including fried chicken and caviar (upon special reservation) and of course pork buns.

Next up is one serious cocktail lounge. Death & Co opened in New York on New Years Eve 2006/2007. It is a cocktail institution known for producing some top drinks and bartenders and contributing greatly to the renaissance in cocktails and mixology seen in the last decade. In 2010, Death & Co won Best American Cocktail Bar and World’s Best Cocktail Menu at Tales of the Cocktail Spirited awards. The cocktail bar doesn’t take reservations so grab a seat when you can find one and enjoy the experience.
